# View and renew resource orders

> View Instance and Volume order statuses, verify that quotas have taken effect, and renew before resources expire.

Orders record the purchase, billing, and renewal of instance and volume resources. An order is generated after a resource is purchased. The corresponding resource quota becomes available only after the order status changes to `active`.

This topic helps you view order status, confirm that resource quotas have taken effect, and renew resources before they expire. The orders page also provides an entry point for purchasing resources. For specific purchase configurations, follow the applicable procedures for instance resources or storage resources.

## Orders and Quota Activation Mechanism

After you purchase resources, the platform generates an order. Only after the order becomes `active` will the Instance Quota be added to the target Resource Pool, and the Storage Quota become available for creating Volumes. Develop, Training, and Inference can consume only resource quotas that have taken effect.

After an order expires, its associated quota becomes invalid. This may prevent new tasks from using the corresponding resources, reduce the total quota of the resource pool, or cause tasks to enter the queue due to insufficient quota. If the resources are still in use, renew in advance to avoid affecting task execution after expiration. The availability and handling of Volumes after storage quota expiration are subject to platform rules.

## View Order Status

Go to **Resources > Order**. Select a region and cluster to view orders for instance resources or storage resources.

You can use the order status to determine whether the resource quota has taken effect, is still being processed, or has expired.

| Status | Description |
| - | - |
| `pending` | Billing confirmation is in progress. If this status persists for an extended period, contact technical support. |
| `active` | Purchase successful; the quota is taking effect. |
| `renewing` | Renewal is in progress. |
| `refunding` | Refund is in progress. |
| `expired` | Expired; the associated quota is no longer valid. |
| `failed` | Action failed. |

## Verify That the Resources Have Taken Effect

After the order status becomes `active`, continue to confirm whether the quota has reached the expected level.

| Resource Type | Verification Method |
| - | - |
| Instance | In Instance, verify whether the total quota and available quota of the target resource pool have increased. |
| Volume | In Volume, verify whether the storage quota has increased. If mounting is required, proceed to create a Volume. |

If the order is already `active` but the quota has not increased as expected, confirm that the correct Region, Cluster, target resource pool, or target storage pool has been selected.

## Renew Order

If you need to continue using purchased resources, you can initiate a renewal in Orders.

1. Go to **Resources > Order**.
2. Select the target region and cluster.
3. Locate the order to be renewed and click **Renew**.
4. Specify the renewal period and submit.
5. Return to the order list, confirm that the order status has returned to `active`, and verify that the expiration time has been extended.

Renewal is an asynchronous operation. During renewal, the order may temporarily be in the `renewing` status. Once completed, it returns to `active`.

Renewal extends the resource expiration time based on the original order. The service start time on the Billing record generated by the renewal will follow the end time of the previous order.

## Buy Resources from the Order Page

In **Resources > Order**, click **Buy** to purchase resources.

The Orders page serves only as a purchase entry point. When purchasing Instance resources, configure the instance specification, quantity, and target resource pool based on the intended use of the computing capacity. When purchasing Volume resources, configure the storage capacity and purchase duration based on subsequent Volume creation requirements.

After submitting the purchase, return to the order list to check the order status. Once the order becomes `active`, go to the corresponding resource page to verify that the quota has taken effect.
