# Manage Registry Projects and Members

> Create and view Registry projects, add members to projects, and configure access permissions.

Projects are used to organize artifacts such as images and Helm Charts and are also part of image paths. Before pushing an image, create a project in the target region. If team members or automated tasks need to access artifacts in the project, add members to the project and configure permissions.

## Create a Project

1. Log in to the [GPU Cloud console](https://console.scitix.ai/gpu-cloud/home).

2. Go to **STORAGE > Registry** and select the target region.

3. On the **Projects** tab, click **New Project**.

4. Configure the project information.

 | Configuration Item | Description |
 | - | - |
 | **Project Name** | Used as the project path in the image address. We recommend using a name that clearly identifies the business or environment. |
 | **Public** | Select based on the image access requirements. Do not enable public access for images containing sensitive information or intended for internal use only. |
 | **Storage Limit** | Sets the available capacity for the project. Refer to the value displayed on the page. |

5. Click **New Project**.

6. After the project is created, return to the **Projects** tab to confirm that the project appears.

## Manage Project Members

### Add Project Members

After members are added to a project, they can access the artifacts in the project according to their roles. Project member permissions apply only to the current project and do not automatically grant access to other projects.

1. On the **Projects** tab, click the name of the target project.

2. In the project sidebar, go to the **Project Members** page.

3. Click **Add Member**.

4. Select members and configure their roles.

 | Configuration Item | Description |
 | - | - |
 | **User / User Group** | Select the users or user groups that need to access the current project. |
 | **Role** | Select project-level permissions.

**Read/Write (RW)** is suitable for members who need to push or pull images, or maintain artifacts and rules within the project.

**Read-Only (R)** is suitable for members who only need to view project content or pull images.

|

5. After submitting the configuration, confirm on the **Project Members** page that the member has been added.

### Modify or Delete Project Members

When a member’s responsibilities change, an account is no longer in use, or an automated task no longer needs access to the project, promptly update or remove the project member.

1. On the target project details page, go to **Project Members**.
2. Find the target member.
3. Perform the following actions as needed:

 * Click **Edit** to adjust member roles.
 * Click **Delete** to remove a member's access to the current project. Before deleting a member, ensure that the member or user group is not relied upon by image push, pull, synchronization, retention policy maintenance, or CI/CD workflows.
