# GPU Cloud Release Notes

Updated GPFS specifications, provisioning, and image replication permission checks

###  Improvements

* Updated specifications for the performance and capacity types of GPFS. For details, see [GPFS Overview](https://docs.scitix.ai/gpu-cloud/storage/gpfs-overview.md#specification-types).
* Improved wait and retry handling for CES instance and CKS cluster provisioning errors to reduce provisioning stalls.
* Standardized the software baseline for CES instance and CKS cluster provisioning, including operating system, GPU driver, RDMA OFED, and GPFS version combinations.

###  Bug fixes

* Fixed permission checks for cross-region image replication tasks. Access, manual trigger, and stop permissions are now checked against the replication policy's region and organization.
* Fixed an issue where image replication tasks returned underlying error details when access was denied or the resource did not exist. These cases now return consistent error messages.
